GNV FLA is the Seventh studio album of the Ska/Pop Punk band Less Than Jake recorded under their self-owned label Sleep It Off Records. At first I was pretty happy with this album, Does the Lion City Roar? has some awesome trumpet parts and Im kind of a sucker for any song that has brass instruments bursting through. Sadly, it only takes about 10 seconds into the next song for all interest in this album to go out the window.  The singer who I assume is Chris Demakes sounds like he should be fronting a high school emo band than a 16 year old Ska band. Nothing against high school emo bands but Ska requires a soul that Less Than Jake did not show in 13 of 14 songs on GNV FLA.

So if you prefer your Ska lifeless and monotonous head on over to their website where you can get their album or stay here and give there one decent song a listen.  I however will be shaking the dust off my Sublime albums and giving them a spin or two.
